Handy to Have


- A traditional nurse's fob watch pinned to your bee suit is a practical way of keeping time since it is more easily accessible than a wrist watch when kitted out in all your protective gear. But do remember to unpin the watch from your bee suit before washing it... (Steven Sidaway)

- A voice-activated mobile Dictaphone is a useful alternative to making handwritten notes in the apiary because not only can you record information during inspections with relative ease, but it also enables you to make a note of any tasks/equipment which will be required for the next visit.
